Will the health department give your child immunizations without having the record with you


Will the health department give your child immunizations without having the record with you?
i usually go to my childs clinic for them but they dont carry vaccinations for the 1 yr mark so i have to go to the health department. can i just go to the clinic and pick up a copy?

It depends. If they are able to look in your records and get it, then its fine. If you've never been to that health department though, then they won't give any shots without knowing what your child has or hasn't had. They'll simply tell you to contact the doctor or health department that you used prior to them and have them fax it over. *Yes, go to the clinic and get a copy.

They should have record there if your have been going to the same place from the start.
