My wife and I both have served in the armed forces and were honorably discharged. Does the VA provide health benefits to children of veterans who are not retirees?

i believe so but to be sure, go to va.gov and be sure

No. VA benefits are for the veteran and in some cases, the surviving spouse.

no. only if one or both of you were killed in action.

One of you does not have to be killed in action dispite what one poster said. One of you has to be killed on active duty for a surviving spouse or child to recieve health benefits if you are not retired.
