Yes the Health Insurance will cover the Hospital and your delivery and you. It will not cover anything for the death of an infant upon birth. If you are pregnant now, whatever Insurance you have will still be responsible when the baby is born. Not your fault that it takes nine months, unless there is a written stipulation in the policy denying charges if you would happen to change insurances near the nine month date. You may want to read over your policy. Good luck to you young lady.

Yes, babies are covered as new borns. You should check with the insurance to see exactly how. Some are automatically covered under the moms policy for the first 30 days of life. Most give you a certain amount of time to add the baby (30-60 days) in which time claims will deny until you have them added. You should check with your insurer.
