If my child gets hurt on my backyard trampoline - will my/his health insurance cover his injuries

If my child gets hurt on my backyard trampoline - will my/his health insurance cover his injuries?
Or would that be a home insurance claim?

Use your health insurance. It's a bad idea to try and put a claim through your home owners insurance. You are at risk of being dropped or premium going up. Children get hurt at home all the time. If a friends child got hurt at your home then you should deal with the Homeowners insurance company. That's my opinion!

Homeowners insurance will not pay for injuries sustained by residents of your household. And when you file the claim, the adjuster will alert underwriting to the hazard and you may be invited to get insurance elsewhere. I highly recommend you get rid of that trampoline. It's not a matter of "if" someone will get hurt but when. If one of your child's friends gets hurt on the trampoline....the child's parents can sue you. And they will win. It just becomes a question of how much they get paid. Any time you get sued...you risk your personal assets. Is a toy that is a danger to your child and others really worth risking your financial future for?

You and the people in your house, cannot collect ANYTHING for injuries under your own homeowners policy. It only pays for things you get SUED for. You can't sue yourself. Most of the time, your health insurance will cover this. I really hope you have a high deductible, because I think it's rather "asking for it". You know you have a high hazard thing at your house, and you plan on keeping the high hazard thing at your house, but want someone else to pay for the injuries. You have no right to complain about the high cost of insurance. THAT kind of behavior is contributing to it. The only thing worse than planning on having someone pay for your child when they get injured (or paralyzed for life!!), would be planning the child's funeral if the injury is fatal. Think about THAT, and tell me if you still want the trampoline in your yard

Spruiky hi!

Insecure attachment, the child won't be able to have healthy relationships when he/she is older and will most likely paranoid that their partner will leave them. Poor social skills, not being able to communicate etc. Depression. Anxiety. If I think of any more I'll come back.

mm mm I`m not sure about answering questions to do with your course work. Besides I`m not sure I know the answer, I do have an opinion though. Have you got a handle on what you think? Under developed social skills can lead to problems in communicating and expressing. It could result in an inability to express or understand emotional difficulties, this may lead to personality difficulties in later life. Isolation can cause depression and child hood depression can be hard to detect, we need the recognition that a low mood is not the norm. If a young child becomes depressed and is unaware or unable to communicate that then they accept this as normal, meaning any underlying depressive symptoms go unchecked. With the personality still being developed it is possible isolation may become the accepted norm and the child may become a loner in later life leading to relationship problems. Addiction would be a probable out come in later life.

you need to get somone to take care of you child so you can get mental health.
2 :
take your child somewhere safe, as soon as possible...like right this minute. also, check yourself into a mental health clinic/hospital asap. You may not think you're going to harm yourself or your child, but you never know.
3 :
This is normal your just thinking stupid , do not hurt your child get social services involved this might save the childs future x good luck 4 u and your son/daughter
4 :
Seriously if you've got a family member who will take your child that would be best. You need to have that mental health office admit you to a hospital so you can get the help need and deserve.Contact children services voluntarily and tell them your situation and they may even help you help yourself. You would much rather have your child alive and with strangers than something bad happening you could've prevented. You're already got the first step down, you're admitting something isn't right.

They will probably put your child in a foster or temporary home, and if later you are deemed "sane" or in good health by your doctor your child will be given back. If you think about it... its probably for the best - you dont know if you will ever give in to the voices, and while youre strong now, after theyve been hounding you for months you might be willing to do anything for them to shut up.
