You are petty and immature and shouldn't have had a child. That way you would not be worrying about 25 dollars that help covers a child you made expenses.
2 :
i work 2 jobs.. i have lot of bills. 4br house in the suburbs.. 3 cars, wife's tuition for her nursing school... and daycare for a 3 year old, after school care for 5/8 year olds. the last part alone costs me 1500$ per month. you're crying about 25$? LMAO
3 :
In most states they will attempt to recoup the state funds. Rather than getting the $25 back, I would think they would charge it to you, if I understand your question, which I'm not confident I do. It seems poorly worded.
4 :
Probably not, but is $25/month worth going back to court?
5 :
What makes you think that any one of us knows that answer? Really? Why don't you call the state where they will know the answer? That is who I would ask.

My parents love me. I had a roof over my head, clothes on my back, and food in my stomach. I didn't have the most expensive thing, but what they gave me is priceless. (I think the irony is lost on you) You are priceless. You are quibbling over $25. Are you for real! This is your child. Let me guess. You'll spend more than that on yourself, because it's you and you think you're important. Priceless! PS: the smart folks out there will get the irony. This is your child. You have to TAKE CARE OF YOUR CHILD!!!!!!!
7 :
Do you think your ex is getting rich off the $25? Do you not think your child might need a book? a pencil? $25 certainly won't buy sneakers or clothes
8 :
How much are you paying for your internet connection per month, so you can come on here and show the world what a pathetic waste of oxygen you are?

Can someone use honey too much? What about a child? Does honey have any health benefits

Can someone use honey too much? What about a child? Does honey have any health benefits?
My daughter loves honey, I didn't like her having sugary oatmeal and tea, so I put honey in it in place of refined sugar. Well, my mother recently told me she thinks I give my daughter too much honey. She said it can make her sick. I was wondering if there is any truth to that. Also, are there any health benefits to eating honey? (I know its better for you than refined sugar, but thats all I know about it.) Thanks! FYI: She has about 3 tablespoons (give or take a little) of honey a day between her tea, oatmeal and toast.

Nope Just contains alot of Sugar wouldnt consider giving it to a child under the age of 5 Can choke easily better off mixing it with somthing. Thanks
2 :
Children under 2 should not eat honey because of botulism. Honey has many medical benefits for adults, but people should brush their teeth after they eat it. There are many different varieties of honey (depending on what plants were close to the bee hive).
3 :
If your daughter is under 14 months old, then honey can be harmful, but otherwise, it is healthful and delicious. Local honey can build up resistance to allergies from local plants. It can stave off sickness, and gives a person way more energy throughout the day. I kept a pot of honey in my dorm room last year, and mixing it with my morning tea definitely helped me to stay alert (and awake) throughout the day. Of course, there's such thing as too much of anything; it is rich, so honey can make you nauseous in huge amounts, but 3 tablespoons per day will do nothing for your daughter but improve her health! Grandmothers have to worry and nag. It's in their job description. :-) EDIT: I forgot to mention, my mother raised me on honey instead of sugar as well, since my dad has hypoglycemia and can't have sugar, and she wanted the entire family to eat the same things. I'm pretty sure that this is why my sisters and I have such high metabolisms; we've all always been really skinny. But, when a couple of them got places of their own and started cooking with sugar, their metabolisms slowed down a good bit. Could be unrelated, but you never know... :-)

Honey isn't bad for kids if it's dissolved. Since it can be thick then it can choke a child so be careful when giving it to her. Locally harvested honey is good for kids because the bees that made it also came in contact with the local pollen. If a child eats local honey then that child is less likely to develop allergies to the local pollen. Don't take my word for it, though. Ask a doctor. 3 tbsp isn't bad....it's way less than what most kids eat in their regular food each day when you consider soda pop, candy, presweetened cereals.... Sounds like you are a wonderful parent.
5 :
It is my understanding that honey has antibacterial properties, and I also understand that you should buy honey from a local farmers market and it will help you with allergies because it will contain some of the trees and flowers that aggravate allergies. Honey sold in stores is not good for you, because they heat it up and it does something weird like kills enzymes that help make honey healthy these enzymes boost you immune system. So just get unfiltered honey from a farmers market in your area. In a way I guess your mom is right sorta, cause the honey that is from the store will do no good and I guess you might as well use sugar. But it won't make her sick. You can also put honey on burns and cuts. The Egyptians did this centuries ago. Funny what was old is now the new.

More research is needed on post natal depression/psychosis, I really don't think the medical community pays enough attention to those issues.

Child Custody: How to prepare for a Mental Health Evaluation

Child Custody: How to prepare for a Mental Health Evaluation?
Im currently in going through a child custody case. The Court has ordered that we the parents be evaluated separately then the child. Im curious if anyone has been through this and if anyone knows what these test consists of?

both me and my kids and my ex were put through that. He convinced the courts I might have mental problems but they made him go too. BTW, I still have custody, they found more wrong with him..LOL Don't worry they can find something wrong with everyone.......We all had our tests done separately but mine consisted of talking about the relationship and my family life growing up, interpretting pictures to determine how your mind thinks, answering a 500 page true or false survey and a few shorter parenting ones.... I am sure each psychologist does things a little different but just relax and be honest and I am sure you'll do fine.......I wasn't allowed in the room during the oldest child's evaluation, he is eight but I think he was mostly asked questions about the relationship he has with each parent, he too I think was shown photos and asked what the people in them were doing. My youngest wouldn't let me leave and he was asked to draw a circle, a line etc on a paper and determine if faces were smiling, frowning etc and shown pictures as well.... He is four... I hope this helps you.....

can you homeschool your child if you have a mental health problem

can you homeschool your child if you have a mental health problem?
well my friend has a mental health problem and she wants to homeschool her child... Is This Possible ? She Hasnt Had It Since 4 years ago so she is doing well now.. would she still be able to homeschool her child ?? She Lives In Kent, UK. Thanks x

Sure she should be able. I don't see what harm it'll do... actually there are a lot of homeschool curriculums, online schools and so forth now that guide you and have your daily lesson plan laid out, if she chooses the right school or/and right curriculum she should be fine, that's the main issue. But I don't know what the school laws are in the UK for homeschooling. Anyway, if she thinks she can do it she can. But if her kid is difficult to manage (young child) she/you will need to question if she can handle it.
2 :
Of course. There are no laws prohibiting this, and if she has it under control like you say she does, then it shouldn't impair her ability to home educate her child. My mother home schooled me with OCD and mild depression, and I turned out to be very successful in my opinion.
3 :
Sure she can. You are aware, of course, that there are many mentally ill teachers in brick and mortar schools. All the best
4 :
Yes she can. She'll have company. There are t
eachers in brick and mortar schools *and* homeschooling parents who have mental health issues. As long as she has it under control, it should not interfere with her ability to homeschool her child.
