For my GCSEs I picked history, French, health and social care and child development, does anyone know what these subjects will be like? *PLEASE NOTE I AM AN OPEN USER ACCOUNT USED BY ONE FAMILY, SO THE QUESTIONS ASKED WILL NOT COME FROM ONE SOURCE/PERSON!*

out of those the only one i took was french. the course is seven different topics, family and friends, holidays, work experience, local area, hobbies, the environment and school. for the oral you need to be able to talk at length about these topics (you will have prepared them throughout the two years) and you are expected to do a role play and narrative when you get into the exam. there is also a listening, reading, and writing exam. the writing exam is two questions, you pick an a or a b for each, and write about 100 words for the first question and 200 for the second. i thoroughly enjoyesd learning french, and am very glad i did, although i won't say it was really easy to learn. good luck! :)
