what do I need to do if my child has health Ins with the SD Dept of Social Service, and I want to move to ND?

You'll have to reapply for the health Insurance in ND after you move with their social services dept.
2 :
You will need to contact your current rep and inform them of the move, then contact the ND DSS and let them know you have just moved there and what programs you are currently involved in. They will give you the necessary forms to transfer everything.
3 :
You will have to re-file in ND. They can request your SD file and the processing time will probably be shorter than normal.

Health Department child immunization questions

Health Department child immunization questions. . .?
Here in Florida one can go to the local health department and get a child's shots free of charge as long as they are under 18. A couple of questions for you. 1. Is this everywhere in the United States? 2. Who is paying for the shots - the government/taxpayers, I guess? 3. Is it taking advantage of "the system" if one goes to get their child's shots there as opposed to paying $20 for each shot at their pediatrician's office if they can afford it? Thanks in advance:-) P.S. I asked this question in two categories - Government & Parenting as I think I may get a better selection of answers from different points of view.

1. Not everywhere. Some states have similar programs, but many run it on "ability to pay" situation. You are charged what you can financially handle. 2. Taxes pay for the shots. So you and I do overall. 3. I do think it is taking advantage of the system. Because if someone that can afford the charge does it for free, they are actually taking away from someone that may really need to get it for free. I don't feel that is right in any situation. I know that my insurance pays for my daughter's immunizations. We pay a charge for an office visit ($30 I believe), and the insurance company pays for all of the shots.

What you want babysitter to know about your child? INFORMATION?
I am getting ready to start baby sitting my friend baby when she has time after he 6wk. i would like to have a paper with information like the parent names,work and home number & cell, person to contact for emerg. other than parents. who not allow to pick up child, list health problems, can any one help with any other that they would want someone to know about there child. thank Thank for all the great answer!

Sounds like you have most of it down. Feeding schedule would probably be the only other thing I'd add to it at that age.

any kind of schedule the child is on, sleeping, feeding. A paper signed saying if there is an emergency you can take the child to the hospital..along with insurance, doctor Information and so on!

I would find out the babies feeding/napping schedule and probably the childs pediatritions number incase the baby gets sick or starts crying unusually. Other than that... you nailed everything else.

You have got the main idea... Allergies, feeding schedules, any fears or anything that they don't like...because these things can cause issues. Other than that...just ask the parents if there is anything you need to know. A parent knows best, I hope.
