I've a child who is 1yr old, is extra olive oil good for his health & how to use or administer?
Please give me the measurements up to adulthood. And more of its benefits in both children and adults.

You want to give your 1 year old olive oil? I don't think that is a good idea.

Extra virgin olive oil is a better fat to use in food as opposed to butter however there is no need to "administer" it to your little one other than using it in everyday cooking that your one year old eats (I'm assuming he eats what you eat). I dunno if you heard something on the news about the benefits of olive oil but you shouldn't embrace every health trend that comes along. In the nicest possible way, you really shouldn't mess around with your kid's diet in this way, your child is not a test dummy for some olive oil health trend.

Hi!I`m Italian and we use put extra olive oil from the first food,at lunch i give to my baby(7 month) homemade broth with cereal,Parmesan, meat and a little spoon of oil. The extra olive oil is good for the fat the baby need, but be sure to use only extra virgin olive oil,i use the Botticelli.

What are the effects on health for children to be in a car that stinks like cigarettes. No smoking, just smell

What are the effects on health for children to be in a car that stinks like cigarettes. No smoking, just smell
I smoke in my car, but never when my children are in it. However there is concern that the smell alone can be bad for a child's health, specialy an asthmatic child.

Well, there is no smoke left in the car, just a smell, so I doubt it can cause any problem. People smoke out and about in public every day, and other people will be walking through places where people have smoked. So long as they are not directly inhaling second-hand smoke, they shouldn't be at any risk.

The smell shouldn't hurt them unless it makes them sick at their stomach. That said, if the car smells like smoke from a smoker, that tells me that the car is not clean. An unclean car can have dust, mold, and mildew in it. They can cause respiratory infections and asthma attacks.

My daughter's CHILD HEALTH PLUS (in NY) will expire in May when she turns 19

My daughter's CHILD HEALTH PLUS (in NY) will expire in May when she turns 19...?
Will Obama's new health care plan remedy that? I always knew she had the option to purchase insurance when she turned 19, but it was incredibly expensive, and she's a college student without a job. I hope the new insurance is affordable (or the govt. kicks in)
