Money, children. We overcame them with love, communication and compromise.

I don't really think that it is the problem but how you deal with it and with each other during the problem. We have not found anything that we cannot tackle together.
3 :
I think the most difficult thing to over come is communication. Talking about things is the key to everything in a marriage. Trust, intimacy, and building a life long friendship. You need to have strong communication or your marriage wont' work.
4 :
Trust, and getting over ourselves. You have to be able to face your own faults to have a successful marriage and humbling ourselves to this has been the hardest.
5 :
I heard money is the top reason for divorce, but I think people give up on marriage too easily.

Inexperience. We were both very young and the lack of experience led to many issues. We loved each other dearly when we got married, but the fact that we were not ready to deal with life's issues, took a toll on our relationship and eventually divorced. I see this happen a lot with young couples who get married. They go to the alter thinking to be Barbie and Ken and ready to play house, but when the real issues emerge, they do not know how to handle it and that is when arguments and problems begin.

A hyper ADHD dog he had when we met, that wasn't getting enough exercise or attention. He finally agreed that he didn't have time to take care of the dog, and we found a wonderful new home for the dog with a retired couple who could give him all the attention in the world. The only thing that ever made me contemplate leaving the relationship was this dog; there was nothing else even close to this magnitude of a problem. For a while, life was getting simply unbearable at home, with the dog following me everywhere, barking, jumping, running around - all the while my husband (well, we weren't married at the time) had no time or interest to exercise the dog, take him to training, etc - whatever needed to be done to keep a hyperactive dog occupied. Thankfully, he had to finally face the fact that it was a special-needs dog, and he simply couldn't invest enough time into caring for it. The dog is much happier in his new home - and so are we. Next dog we get, we'll have to pay special attention to personality.

When you have a baby, the child is covered under the mother's health insurance for 30 days following birth

When you have a baby, the child is covered under the mother's health insurance for 30 days following birth...?
Is the child covered under the father's health insurance for 30 days as well? My husband and I have 2 different health insurance providers and I have a 35% coinsurance with my (I am the mother) insurance. I am now getting thousands of dollars of medical bills for the delivery of my child. I know I am responsible for my hospital stay, but I have a $4000 bill for my daughter's. Can I submit that to my husband's insurance?

It will probably depend on what companies you each have. I would definitely give it a shot. I don't believe that a father's child is automatically covered like a mother's child is, so you might want to look to get the baby on the non-35% co-insurance policy quickly.
2 :
You have to READ your POLICIES or contact your insurance carrier. You should have had this sorted out WELL before you gave birth. I have never heard of a policy where the child is automatically covered on the father's insurance.
3 :
it's 30 days total max, then you have to add child to one of your plans and pay the higher cost associated with employee+1 or family plan - child can only be covered under ONE insurance plan
4 :
Not exactly true, for either of those. You have 30 days from the date the baby is born, to ADD that child, to mom's coverage, or dad's coverage. IF you add the baby, the baby is covered retroactive, from the date of birth. SOME state medicaid programs - welfare health insurance - WILL automatically cover the baby under mother's welfare health insurance, for the first 30 days, even if baby never gets added. IF the baby gets added to both mom's private insurance, and dad's private insurance, the "birthday rule" applies, as to whose coverage is primary - whoever has the first birthday, during the year, is primary. BUT, if dad does add baby, and you submit the bill, his coverages apply to the TOTAL AMOUNT, not just the part you have to pay. So, if dad also has a 35% coinsurance, then his insurance pays NOTHING, because yours already picked up 65% of the bill. If his has a 30% coinsurance, then his pays the difference - 5% of the TOTAL, not 65% of the BALANCE.
